“When my husband, Bob and I sold our home sooner than we’d anticipated near Philadelphia, PA, we had not looked for a home in KS, where we were relocating. The buyers wanted us out in less than a month, so that was all the time we had to find a home and move. Our realtor from Coldwell Banker in PA, Susan Bell, called Greg Weis in Shawnee, KS and told him our situation. Immediately after speaking with Susan, he called me and spent about ½ hour asking me questions about what type of home we were looking for and the area where we thought we wanted to live. This wasn’t easy for Greg as we really didn’t know where we wanted to live – we had several areas we were interested in. I gave Greg all the information I could and when we would be in the KC area to look.

We ended up having three days to actually search. We looked at 35 houses in that short time. Greg was great and very organized. Each day we met he gave Bob and I a computer printout of houses that matched our needs. He would tell us that was our “homework” for the day. Looking at that many houses got very confusing, but with the printout on each home and the notes we took, we were able each night to go over each house and rule out the ones we weren’t interested in. As with most buyers we were uncertain if this was “the one” but Greg went over the pros and cons in each home we were interested and was able to reassure us with any questions we had.

Greg helped us with the mortgage process also. The day before we were to sign the papers on the house, he found out the lender had some issues with the inspection that had been done. Before we even knew about these issues, Greg had workers lined up and working to get the house in ready order so we could move in on time.
